Carl Schurz Park Wedding

Kim and Dustin were the third couple I married on XXX.  Since their elopement plans unfolded with a few weeks to spare, they asked for wedding ceremony location ideas in Manhattan.  Liam and I were delighted that they took our advice and picked a site other than Central Park, which was particularly overflowing with brides, grooms, tour groups, and locals on 10-10-10.

Carl Schurz Park is a small, quiet park by Gracie Mansion at East End Avenue and 86th Street frequented by locals with dogs and children.  Besides being quiet and pretty, this park is adjacent to the East River, which makes it a great alternative to busier areas for those planning a waterfront wedding in Manhattan.

Kim and Dustin picked their wedding and ring exchange vows.  Here are their “responsorial” ring exchange vows.

Vow: This ring is a token of my love.I marry you with this ring, with all that I am and all I have.

Response: I will forever wear this ring as a sign of my commitment and the desire of my heart.

Thank you note:

Oh Liam!  The pictures are amazing!  And I can’t believe how quickly they were available.  Dustin and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, and we’re so blessed to have shared our day with the two of you!

God Bless,
Kim and Dustin
