Joys of Weekday Weddings in the Park

Nothing else could have made this elopement stick more closely to the true spirit of the concept.  First, Kristi and Chris choose a Monday evening as their wedding date.  Secondly they planned to pack up their East Village apartment to move to Colorado the next day.  Thirdly, they married in a public place with only two of the best witnesses (and friends) one could ever hope for.,

Chris and Kristi originally planned to get married on the Brooklyn Bridge.  Then the weather forecast predicted rain: the day-of, they switched to Bethesda Terrace for the covering.  As luck would have it, the sky remained clear!  Best of all, since they married on a Monday evening, few locals and tourists were strolling the park, which allowed Kristi and Chris to marry right in front of the Angel of Waters’ Fountain.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and for doing our ceremony! We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out, and you did such a wonderful, heartfelt, and fantastic job! It was such a pleasure.
