Although photographers tend to place me on the downward slant, which makes me appear even shorter in height, I do adore officiating wedding ceremonies on rocks. Yes, it is one of my quirky preferences. The symbolism, climbing, firmness, and views somehow make weddings on rocks especially fun and meaningful. Cat Rock is a great option: the nearness to the Gapstow Bridge and the lovely southern niches of Central Park offer opportunities for romantic wedding photos. The Hernshead rocks by the Ladies Pavilion also provide a wonderful setting for exchanging vows.
