Shakespeare Garden Wedding (Central Park)

With only a week to spare, Jessica and Brian contacted me.  Originally, these Oklahoma natives planned to marry in the Clerk’s Office.  But they came across an Off Beat Bride post that described my services, contacted me about a Justice of the Peace style elopement, and even left the decision about where to marry largely up to my discretion.  Since their change of plans occurred with such short-notice, their only desire was to marry in Central Park.  I suggested the Shakespeare Garden, which is perhaps my favorite Central Park niche for elopements due to the ability for the witnesses, couple, and myself to create mini barricade that helps to prevent folks from walking through the middle of the ceremony.  Honestly, though, the gardens are adorable and the fragrance is simultaneously uplifting and relaxing. Fortunately, my advice proved wise: the couple loved the spot!

these are awesome! thanks so much for passing them along to us. thanks again for meeting us there and officiating our ceremony. it was a true fairy tale in central park. we’ve received our marriage certificate!
